Performance by anamarija ami podrebarac

Artist is performing durational work in which it will repeatedly write one word over and over again until all the pieces of paper are used. Work explores repetition and exhaustion as an act to give voice to the repressed space of a working office. Resisting the disorder and sexual violence that takes place in today's world. The performance takes a form of permission that body acts out in a written word. It is a durational performance and time is measured until all the sheets of paper are used.

Anamarija Ami Podrebarac was born in 1990 in Karlovac, Croatia. She completed her BA in Applied Arts in 2016  and in 2017 started a postgraduate degree at Central St. Martins in photography.

She works in the area of artificial intelligence and the central focus of her work is to question our position in the interpretation of art and expand our understanding and own perceptions of the world by rejecting traditional ideas of the human form.

Anamarija positions technology as a centre of knowing, rather than putting technology in the positions of “other". She uses rhizomatic performance which enables her to let her work grow independently from her body.

Nikolas Ventourakis - Visual artist

Nikolas Ventourakis is a visual artist living and working between Athens and London. His practice is  situated in the threshold between art and document, in the attempt to interrogate the status of the photographic image.
